Victoria Wall’s vision to establish a recruitment business focused on delivering an unrivalled service was fuelled by the shocking and inaccurate career advice she was given whilst at University. Having read Business Studies and specialised in Human Resources, the career counsellor recommended ‘she join the army to become a cook!’ Whilst for some, more outward bound types, this would have been relevant career advice, for Victoria it only led to her researching if there were any recruitment businesses in London that offer ‘decent career advice’ to graduates. The answer was none…

And so in June 1989, after three years of working for a reputable recruitment consultancy in London, Victoria set up Victoria Wall Associates Ltd (VWA).
